Jetski repairs and diagnostics in Somerton Park
Tracking down running problems, warning lights and pump issues, then fixing them properly. We find the cause before anything gets replaced.
Down on top speed, a pump that cavitates, a ski that won't start or a warning on the display. We find the actual cause before replacing anything, then explain it in plain language and give you the price.
Modern skis are packed with electronics, while older skis need a different kind of attention. Either way, it gets a proper look, not a guess.
No dramas, no throwing parts at it. Just a ski that's sorted and ready for the next run.
All makes welcome, including Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner and Kawasaki Jet Ski.

FAQs
Your questions,
answered straight.
What are the signs of a worn impeller or wear ring?
Common signs are a loss of top speed, a slow hole shot and cavitation, where the engine revs but the ski doesn't push like it should. Sucking up sand, rocks or debris speeds the wear up.
What is cavitation?
Cavitation happens when the pump loses its bite on the water, so the impeller spins in aerated water instead of pushing solid water. It feels like the ski is slipping. Worn or damaged pump parts and a blocked intake grate are common causes.
Why should I check the intake grate?
Weed, rope, plastic and rocks can get caught in the intake grate or wrapped around the impeller. A blocked intake costs performance and can cause overheating. Check it with the engine off, before and after riding.
My ski is overheating. Should I keep riding?
It's best not to. Overheating can damage an engine quickly. Head back in gently if you can, switch off and have the cooling system checked. A blocked intake or cooling passage is a common cause.
Will you tell me the price before fixing it?
Yes. We diagnose, explain what we found and give you the price before any repair work starts.
