Will modifications affect my warranty?

They can. A modification doesn't automatically void your whole warranty, but a manufacturer can decline a claim if a modified part caused or contributed to the fault. Talk to us before buying parts and we'll explain the risks.

Do I need to tell my insurer about modifications?

Generally, yes. Most insurers require you to declare modifications, and not doing so can affect a claim. Check with your insurer before and after the work.

Are modifications road legal in South Australia?

Many are, within limits. Some modifications need to meet vehicle standards or be certified before they're road legal. We'll flag anything that could cause problems with registration or a roadside inspection.

What should I upgrade first?
