Season ready
Jetski servicing and winterising in Somerton Park
Scheduled servicing to your manufacturer's schedule and end of season storage prep, so the ski is ready to go when the weather turns.
Jet skis live a hard life: salt, sand, heat and long stretches sitting still between rides. Regular servicing keeps on top of it before a small problem turns a day at the ramp into a day on the trailer.
We service to your manufacturer's schedule and give the ski a proper once-over while it's in. At the end of the season we can prep it for storage, so it's ready to fire up when summer comes back around.
Family cruiser or weekend weapon, it gets the same care and a plain-English rundown of what we found.
All makes welcome, including Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner and Kawasaki Jet Ski.

FAQs
Your questions,
answered straight.
How often should a jet ski be serviced?
Follow your manufacturer's schedule. It's usually based on engine hours or once a year, whichever comes first. Skis that live in saltwater or get worked hard may need attention sooner.
What does winterising a jet ski involve?
Getting the ski ready to sit for a while. Typically that means flushing the cooling system, looking after the fuel with a stabiliser, fogging the engine to protect it from corrosion and keeping the battery charged. Your owner's manual lists the steps for your ski.
Do I need to flush the ski after every saltwater ride?
As a general rule, yes. Flushing the cooling system with fresh water after a saltwater ride helps stop salt and sand building up inside. The procedure differs between makes, so follow your owner's manual.
What should I do with the battery over winter?
Keep it charged. A battery left flat through the off season can be damaged. Remove it and keep it on a suitable maintenance charger, or check and top up the charge regularly.
Should I stabilise the fuel before storage?
Fuel can go stale over a long break, which can lead to hard starting and rough running. Adding a fuel stabiliser and running it through, or following your manufacturer's storage advice, helps the ski start cleanly next season.
